So the first lab I began to do when I got back was the dry ice lab, Properties and Phases of Matter 2. Since it was my second day back I still wasn't really sure what was going to happen so I tried my best to go off on what I observed. What I observed was once you put the dry ice into the cup of water, bubbles start to form and it begins smoking constantly. That was just a Simple Test, we then went into Advance Testing which was putting a piece of dry ice into a balloon and measure the volume when the dry ice is gone. The balloon got to 16 cm in diameter after the 1 cm of dry ice turned into gas.1:16 was the ratio of the solid to the gas. The volume is 1:4288cm^3 after converting.

Fernando, please expand on your findings a bit. What ratio were you able to calculate? What can you tell about the distance between molecules based on your observations?
